GSM Base stations on power line pylons
The Installation Directorate of our company is involved in several projects for GSM operators, in particular the installation of base stations on high-voltage power line pylons. One of these base stations — commissioned by Westel Mobil Rt. — was successfully installed on 20 November 2003, and another site went on air on 27 November 2003.

MVM TFP switch over and realization plans
As part of the MVM TFP switch-over project, the switch-over of the circuits has been completed on the basis of the final construction drawings prepared by ENTEL Ltd. As-built documents will be produced in the next phase of the project.
Successful finalization of the telecommunications development project (TFP) for MVM Rt.
Maintaining and developing a reliable, economical, self-sufficient telecommunications network with quality service is essential to MVM Rt.'s core operations. After several years of preparation and planning, the investment project was completed in 2003, with the new SDH system cut over in August 2003.
The informatics survey of HIF has been completed successfully
Entel Ltd. completed an assessment for the Communications Authority of Hungary examining the impact of the spread of IT on the Authority's market surveillance activities over the previous three years.
Vodafone special repeater commissioning
On 22 July 2003 we completed the commissioning of special repeater sites for Vodafone Rt. The donor and remote repeater stations were supplied by our Swedish partner AVITEC AB for trial, and were used to close a coverage gap in the village of Miklósfa near Nagykanizsa.
MVM Rt. Telecom network – System integration project
Following the successful completion of the TFP test, MVM Rt. commissioned ENTEL Kft. to plan the integration. The project covers integration plans for more than fifty TFP sites and the preparation of as-built documentation following integration.
The first phase of a general review at HIF has been successfully accomplished
The first phase of a general review commissioned by HIF was successfully completed on 9 May 2003. As IT becomes increasingly dominant in telecommunications, one aim of the project is to provide an overall picture of its impact on the Authority's supervisory activities.
HIF assignment
April 2003: in a public procurement tender we were granted the contract for the investigation of the effects of IT on the work of the communications authority and on market supervision (an assignment from HIF).
Integrated availability test of the telecommunications network of MVM Rt
April 2003: we assisted the successful completion of the integrated availability test of the telecommunications network of MVM Rt.
Vodafone training
April 2003: with our assistance, an expert of our partner, Swedish Avitec, held a training course for employees of Vodafone (VRAM Rt.) on the operation of GSM repeater stations.
Telekom Srpska tender
March 2003: participation in closed tenders for the modernisation of Telekom Srpska, with financing from EBRD sources.
