At the Infokom conference of the Scientific Association for Infocommunications (HTE), held for the 28th time this year, Dr. Csaba Huszty of Entel chairs a session titled "Towards self-driving networks – AI native telco".
Telecommunications networks have been growing more complex for decades, and that complexity now exceeds what traditional, rule-based management can handle efficiently. What does AI native operation mean in practice? How far can machine decisions go, and where is human oversight still needed? The session spans wireless and fixed infrastructure, content delivery, spectrum management and regulatory supervision, with concrete applications such as self-healing optical networks, predictive CDN orchestration and energy optimisation.
Session time: 23 November 2026, 17:45–19:15, Grand hall.
