The first phase of a general review commissioned by HIF was successfully completed on 9 May 2003. As IT becomes increasingly dominant in telecommunications, one aim of the project is to provide an overall picture of the impact this has on the Authority's supervisory activities. During the first phase of the project, ENTEL Ltd. developed the methodology for data collection. This methodology is being applied in the second phase, namely personal interviews and detailed reviews based on completed questionnaires. The project is expected to be completed by the end of June.
