Maintaining and developing a reliable, economical, self-sufficient telecommunications network with quality service is essential to MVM Rt.'s core operations. The countrywide network designed specifically for Hungarian Power Companies Ltd. and its partners comprises several dozen nodes equipped with transmission equipment. After several years of preparation and planning, the investment project was completed in 2003. In the final phase, we took part in the circuit cut-over to the new SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) system.
The cut-over from the old transmission system and from external supplier systems was completed in August 2003. The preparation of the cut-over plan and scheduling had to meet extremely strict requirements. Our experts completed the tasks successfully, drawing on many years of cooperation with MVM Rt. The result is a modern, reliable transmission network that meets the telecommunications needs of the power industry in line with MVM Rt.'s stringent industry-specific requirements.
